City in Motion In San Diego it’s all about the location… Best places to get a hotel * Gaslamp District * LaJolla Cove * Seaport Village Some of my fave restaurants * Urban Bar & Grill * Urban Solace (it’s a different type of food, but worth a try) * The Commons Bar There are also likes of Segway Tours, Sightseeing Tours & Brewery & Winery Tours A few of the Tours… * Coronado Segway Tour – $145 (3 hours, includes: snacks, refreshments & ferry tickets) This tour includes a ride through beautiful Downtown San Diego to the dock at the Embarcadero where we catch the Ferry. We travel across the Bay on the Ferry to Ferry’s landing. Once on Coronado we go along the Bay and under the Coronado bridge, along side the Coronado Golf Course, and down Glorietta Blvd. and go passed the Hotel Del. The tour includes a brief historical explanation of Coronado, a stop at The Glorietta Bay Inn, and amazing views of priceless homes and gardens. Snacks, refreshments, and the round-trip ferry tickets are included too. After we return to the San Diego side the tour proceeds back through downtown and ends back at our training area next tour our office. * Downtown San Diego Food Tasting and Walking Tour (3 hours) Some of the restaurant stops on our Downtown tour include: Royal India– Ranked several times as San Diego’s “Best Indian” restaurant Berkeley Pizza– Chicago style deep dish pizza with a San Diego twist. Karl Strauss– (21 &up) San Diego’s first microbrewery, known for its full-flavored, hand-crafted beer Venissimo– San Diego’s locally owned epicenter for all things cheese. Davanti Enoteca- The hippest new hot spot for rustic Italian in all of Little Italy. Na Pizza-Sustainably farmed and organic salads and pizzas “al taglio” (that’s the authentic Roman tradition!)
