Cradle of Modern America Boston is one of the few places I visit with a list of things I want to do! When I walk around Boston I feel like I’m on an 8th grade field trip. Boston is the City on the Hill, the Cradle of Liberty, and so on and so forth, so you have to visit all the historic landmarks. I would definitely recommend the Sheraton Hotel for your visit, it’s in the middle of everywhere you want to be and one of the stops along the Old Town Trolley Tour. Here are a list of places I love to visit while in Boston: 1) The Freedom Trail 2) The South End – fine dining, shopping, nightlife & art galleries 3) Black History Trail – start at The Museum of African American History 4) Fenway Park – even if you don’t go to the game, just go to one of the surrounding restaurants… You will feel like you’re there. 5) The Boston Public Library – The Library is incredible on its own, but this is also where the finish line is for the Boston Marathon! This was my first time going back to Boston since the Boston Marathon bombings and I have to admit walking down Boylston Street was surreal. Actually standing on the finish line had an entire new meaning! Seeing all the flowers, memorials, and running shoes made me appreciate the strength of Boston even more. 6) Institute of Contemporary Art – http://www.icaboston.org – to see what’s new 7) Back Bay – the Brownstone homes are like a work of art!
