Travel Tip
When traveling internationally and using a credit card, they may ask you to accept the charges in USD; this may even happen when you take money from the ATM. Always accept it in the local currency; as typically, the exchange rate will be higher if you accept in USD based on their conversions. Plus there may be an applicable fee for that transaction. You should also try to get a card that does not charge you an international transaction fee, usually 3%.
