Disney Aulani with Disney Monthly

As you pull up to Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa, in Oahu, you can feel the Disney Magic. It’s subtle and tasteful. The staff greets ladies with a beautiful floral lei, men with a kukui nut lei and children with a Menehuene necklace. The lobby has music of Hawaii playing and art from the locals showing the respect they have of the Islands. The hotel has a lazy river, two water slides, several pools including one for adults only, the only private snorkeling reef on the island and a cove that has room for paddle-boarding and kayaking.

The hotel offers great breakfast and dinner buffets with characters, tasty poolside dining and several bars for the adults. There’s a mix of theme park food and local favorites such as Spam Masubi and shaved ice.

This resort offers many activities that are family oriented, but when parents want to have some alone time, they can check their children into Aunty’s Beach House. There are many activities that will make your children not want to leave and you can soak up the sun or enjoy the nightlife listening to artists who play live music each night at the Olelo Room bar and lounge.

The hospitality and cleanliness of this resort is like none other. The cast members seem genuinely happy to help and be of service to the guests.

Aulani resort is truly magical and a place to visit again, with or without kids. Any person, any age can appreciate what Disney has created with this resort.
