Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards I recently stayed at the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland for business and I would not recommend this hotel. It was my third time staying at this hotel, and I haven’t had many problems before but this time was horrible. The location of the hotel is really good, but the customer service is lacking big time. I always call ahead to my hotels to alert them of my feather allergy, this time was not different. When I called ahead to make sure my feather free room would be ready when I checked in, they assured me it would be. I arrived and not only was my room NOT ready, there was no housekeepers available to defeather my room. Night 1, I have to sleep on nothing but a sheet with no pillows. I understand that mistakes happen, even a mistake of this magnitude would have been acceptable IF they followed up in the morning with a new feather free room. That didn’t happen either. When I called down to see if I could get a new room, they said they were full and had no rooms to move me to, but they would send someone to defeather my room. Housekeeping didn’t come until 4 hours later, and that was only after I called to speak with a manager. I stay with Marriott at least 5 times a month and if this is how they treat their platinum members, I think I need to start spending more nights with other brands. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
