DC is one of my favorite cities in the United States and i’ll never get tired of it.  I started my day at the Smithsonian – National Museum of African American History and Culture and ended at Smithsonian Castle.  I can’t really put into words how amazing these museums are so i’ll just show you.

Fun Facts:

  • When the Washington Monument opened in 1884 it was the tallest structure in the world until the Eiffel Tower in Paris took the title in 1889.
  • There are about 1,800 animals from 300 different spices at the Smithsonian National Zoo
  • The Smithsonian Institution Museums boast a collection that includes nearly 138 million objects, works of art and specimens.
