Bogota, Colombia has always been one of my favorite places to visit, I love the food, the people and the inexpensive prices.  I normally hit the ground running but on my last visit, I forgot to check the weather before going so instead of running the streets I stayed and enjoyed all the amenities of the hotel.

Hotel: JW Marriott Hotel Bogota

Stars: 4.7

After my lazy day at JW Marriott, I need to have more lazy days.  It was relaxing and I felt like a new woman.  It started off with their breakfast buffet and ended with a swim in the pool.  I also enjoyed their M Lounge, Spa services and room service.

Breakfast Buffet: It’s a spread, they have everything you could want from 5 different types of breakfast breads, omelet stations, mini pancakes, scrambled eggs, every fruit you could imagine.

M Lounge: They had delicious little sandwiches, as well as hot items, salad bar and dessert bar.  You are allowed 2 free alcohol beverages.  They have a balcony with a beautiful view.

Pool: The pool are was very relaxing, I was the only one in there for the most part and then one other guest joined me.

Spa: I got an hour massage and pedicure and didn’t spend $100!!! (happy dance)  I set the appointment through the front desk and when I showed up it went very smoothly.

If you’re visiting Bogota, I would definitely recommend staying at the JW Marriott.  The staff is very nice and went over and beyond during my stay.  Did I mention there is a pillow menu for you to choose from, and the food at the hotel is just as delicious as the food I’ve had in 5 start restaurants.
